Mike Adams has been a practising lawyer for nearly two decades and has extensive experience across a broad range of corporate, commercial and private client sectors. He has worked in private practice, public sector and in-house roles in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, acting across multiple industries.
He has broad experience within the Australasian film and television industry, having performed lengthy stints as corporate counsel for a prominent Sydney-based media finance company and related production entity, a secondment role at one of Australia’s preeminent television and film production houses. He has acted for a variety of local and international media-focused banks, financial institutions, domestic producers and content creators. Mike has also acted for financiers on numerous Australian, New Zealand, and international co-production films involving the cashflow of various government film incentives such as the Australian Producer Offset, PDV Grant, New Zealand Screen Production Grant, and UK Tax Credit, among others.
Mike’s knowledge and background provides Elevate Production Finance with advisory and transactional expertise in relation to multiple areas of the law, including debt and equity financing, corporate structures, financial services and regulatory law, film and television media law, and intellectual property, among others.
Mike also holds a board position with a multi-billion-dollar Australian asset manager.
